An introduction to Jewel.
A Milwaukee-born lash artist, five years devoted to the craft, and the studio she built one careful set at a time.
Welcome. I am Jewel Morris, born and raised in Milwaukee, and a devoted lash artist for over five years.
I came to this craft for the same reason most women come to JuJu: I was tired of being rushed through appointments, of being talked over, of leaving with work that bore little resemblance to the consultation I had asked for. So I learned the craft the way I wished it had been offered to me: slowly, scientifically, and with a level of care I now extend to every woman who reclines in this chair.
Five years and several thousand sets later, JuJu Lash Co. is the studio I once imagined. Quiet. Considered. Warm. The candle is jasmine. The light is amber. The hours are yours, and so is the work.
I look forward to meeting you.

A studio built one careful set at a time.
- 2019
The beginning
Jewel applies her first set at a dining-room table in Milwaukee. Within a week, three additional appointments follow.
- 2020
A full commitment
Formal certification in classic and volume techniques. A dedicated workspace is established at home, and the first private clientele begins.
- 2022
The first studio
Jewel opens a private suite on Milwaukee's east side and develops the wet-look hybrid that would become the Signature JuJu.
- 2023
One thousand sets
Advanced training in mega volume and lash health. Two apprentices begin training under Jewel's mentorship.
- 2025
JuJu Lash Company
Formal rebrand, expanded studio, and the launch of the JuJu Royalty rewards program.
The story behind JuJu.
JuJu was a name only Jewel’s grandmother used, a softer, sing-song version of her given name, reserved for moments of quiet affection. When her grandmother passed in 2018, Jewel made a private promise to build something that would carry that same gentleness forward.
The studio bears the name, and every appointment carries a measure of that energy: steady hands, an unhurried pace, and the kind of attention only family ever offers.
The kind of training you can see in the work.
Lash health is a science. Every credential listed below represents weeks of formal instruction, dozens of practice sets, and a written examination Jewel completed before offering a single paid service.

What to expect at JuJu.
Arrival
You are welcomed into a private suite. A jasmine candle is lit, your selected beverage is poured, and a curated playlist is queued before you ever take a seat.
Consultation
Ten unhurried minutes. Your eye shape, the health of your natural lash, and the look you envision are discussed in detail. A custom map is drawn before a single extension is placed.
Preparation
A heated bed, weighted blanket, and gel under-eye pads. A thorough lash cleanse and patch test. You are invited to converse, rest, or simply be, whichever serves you that day.
The artistry
Two to three hours of hand-mapped, hand-applied work. Each fan is constructed individually, isolated under magnification, and calibrated to the weight of your natural lash. No two extensions are placed identically.
The reveal
A mirror moment. A take-home aftercare kit, a curated playlist sent to your phone, and a personalized care guide for the weeks between fills.
An atmosphere, considered.
A meaningful part of the JuJu experience occurs before a lash is placed. The room itself is composed with the same care as the work performed within it.

A moment with Jewel.
“An iced oat-milk vanilla latte, two pumps. Every morning, without exception.”
“SZA's slower catalogue. Sade. Cleo Sol. The kind of music that makes a room feel like a sanctuary.”
“Aaliyah's brow architecture, Beyoncé's wet-look density, and the careful way my grandmother applied her own lashes at her vanity.”
“Jasmine candle lit by nine, a quiet hour with the morning paper, and the first guest at ten. The way the entire week is meant to begin.”
“A proper lash bath every other morning. It is the single most important habit any guest can adopt.”
“Sparkling rosé, an oat-milk chai, or cucumber-mint water, depending entirely on the season and the hour.”
The JuJu principles.
Patience over speed
We do not rush. Every set takes the time it requires. That is how lashes remain healthy and beautifully placed.
Health first
Mapping, isolation, and adhesive weight are calibrated to your natural lash. The integrity of your own lashes is always the first consideration.
Hand-crafted, always
Every fan is constructed in the moment. No pre-made strips, no shortcuts, no reproductions of yesterday's work.
An intentional space
Lash appointments are intimate by nature. We protect the atmosphere of the studio as carefully as we protect the work.
